Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this finds you well. I am reaching out on behalf of Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services, the only 5-star APCC accredited Hospice in Gauteng dedicated to offering comprehensive and holistic palliative care services, with an in-home programme as well as an in-patient facility. As you may know Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services is a non-profit organization that provides compassionate care and support to patients and families in need. We are the only non-profit, community-based organisation in greater Alberton, Bassonia, Glenvista, Katlehong and Thokoza, offering home-based care, home-based nursing, paediatric and adult in-patient unit, while also offering bereavement services and psychosocial programmes. However, to ensure that we continue to offer such services, we are continuously on a quest to raise funds and awareness of our programmes. We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support and partnership in our mission to care for those who are most vulnerable. We have a big project underway to build a 14 bed in-patient unit at 14 Glen Albyn, Raceview, which will enable us to provide specialized care and support to more patients in need. This project is a significant undertaking, and we are excited to bring this vision to life. However, we cannot do it alone. We need the support and partnership of communities like yours to help us make this project a reality. But our need for support goes beyond just our building project. Our Children's Unit is a special place where we care for young patients, mostly with rare conditions, who are facing life-limiting illnesses. Our unit is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for up to 10 young patients, aged 0 to 18, who require specialized care and support. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals work tirelessly to provide these young patients with the best possible care, but it comes at a significant cost. Caring for one child with a life-limiting illness can cost us at least R50 000 per month, which includes operational and direct costs such as medical supplies, equipment, and staffing. This is a significant financial burden, and we rely on the generosity of donors and supporters like you to help us continue our work. That's why we are reaching out to ask for your support. We believe that every child deserves to live a life filled with dignity, comfort, and joy, regardless of their illness or condition. We are committed to providing the highest quality care and support to our young patients, and we invite you to join us in this mission. There are many ways that you can support us, from making a donation to volunteering your time. Every little bit counts, and we are grateful for any support that you can offer. Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to the opportunity to partner with you and make a difference in the lives of our young patients. In exchange for the free exhibition space, we would be happy to: • Promote Sasol on all our social media platforms, newsletter and website • Provide recognition and acknowledgement in media (locally and nationally) • Event Recognition • Tax Benefits • Long-Term Partnership • Employee Engagement and Volunteerism Thank you very much for considering our request. Your support will make a significant difference in the lives of many individuals and families in our community.
